I haven't updated the blog in almost a year! You know what they say... time flies when you are having fun! We've been busy and just enjoying Landon. He is almost 18 months now. I can't believe he's almost 2. It's bittersweet, but I miss my little baby.
Recently Landon and I took a trip to Portland, Oregon to surprise my sister for her birthday. Landon rode on an airplane for the first time and he did really well. He didn't cry or get scared, and he was very friendly with everyone. The trip was a lot of firsts for Landon; he went on an airplane, went to the zoo, and went to the beach! We had a lot of fun and enjoyed hanging out with Aunt Brit! Her house is pretty sweet, and I can't wait to go back.
Landon is quite the ladies man. We were in Montana last week to see Josh's brother, Matt, graduate high school. At Matts graduation party, Landon was the center of attention with all the girls. It was so cute. He's a little player and he definitely takes after his Uncle Matt.

Landon Lately
Can you believe these cute cheeks will be 7 months old tomorrow?! He has been up to no good lately. He has been crawling for about 3 weeks now. It's a good thing our apartment came baby proofed. His favorite thing to play with is the air conditioning vent. I think he likes the noise it makes, but its pretty fun to watch him explore. Sometimes he will just lay on the ground and look at things. Yesterday he was giggling at the smallest things. It was too cute.
A few of his favorite foods consist of: pears, squash, sweet potatoes, apples, bananas, carrots and peaches. We tried to feed him peas (the devil's vegetable) however, he literally gagged. It was sad, but hilarious. He doesn't have any teeth yet. He takes after me I guess. I didn't get teeth until 9-12 months.

We went to his 6 month appointment a few weeks ago. He is weighing 17 lbs. His shots were awful, because I took him by myself. I always feel like a jerk! He only cried for a few seconds and then smiled really big at the nurse. It was funny.
He is quickly growing out of his 6 month clothes. We have been buying footless pajamas so that he can wear them longer. :)
Anyway, thats whats going on with our little man lately. Grandpa & Grandma from England come in 2 weeks. Oh, and I can't forget about Uncle Greg, Aunt Sara, Uncle Jeremey, Uncle Paul, and Aunt Brit... (this little boy will be smothered with love!) WE ARE SO EXCITED!!!

Surprise!
Last weekend we made a surprise trip to Montana. We all piled into a 12 passenger van/shuttle (aka The Lucky Clover) and headed up to Great Falls for a few days. The crew consisted of: Josh, me, Landon, Annie, Kevin, Chris and Karen. It was pretty comfortable, and there was so much space.
We walked in 2 by 2 and surprised Josh's mom, Chris, at her work. It was pretty funny; we thought she was going to faint.
While we were up there, we all relaxed and just hung out. We celebrated Josh's 25th birthday and Father's Day, too. It was overall a good trip. We loved being in Montana for a few days.
Playing extreme spoons. At times I felt like my life was in danger, but it was fun.
Landon loves ice. Plus, he looks cute eating it.Landon & Uncle Matt after he came home from Griz camp. He's a happy boy!

Lately
I've neglected my blog once again. We've had quite a bit going on for the month of June. Joshs brother, Kevin, ran his first marathon. He ran the Utah Valley Marathon in Provo. He did awesome! He ran it in 3 hours 56 minutes. My cousin, who is a Marathon-addict, said that is a pretty good time for a marathon virgin. We woke up early (7am on a Saturday... geez!) and cheered him on. I'd post pictures, but I didn't take any. Oops!
I will post soon about our surprise trip to Montana!
I am still working at Central Utah Clinic. I have been working in the "up and coming" Call Center. We are taking all incoming calls for Cardiology, Gastroenterology and Family Medicine in Provo. It's going well, but it's definitley been a learning experience! I have met one of the coolest friends ever, Mandy. Let's just say, I get to laugh 40 hours a week, 5 days a week. It's been really fun so far!
Josh is going to school during the summer. He's only taking a few classes, and working full-time for The Church. I am sure he's used to school/work non-stop, but he's a trooper. We are counting down semesters until he is done. April 2013, are you here yet!?
Landon is going to turn 6 months next week. I have mixed feelings about this. He is becoming so playful and vocal, but I miss my little 6 pound baby. He can roll all over the place, so I wouldn't be surprised if he starts to crawl soon. He's been eating rice cereal for the past month, and he still doesn't really like it. Hopefully, he will like baby food more! He still sleeps through the night like a champ. Josh and I were blessed with a really good baby.
Here's a picture of his cute face!
