So, lately I have been having some really vivid dreams. They have been really interesting dreams. When I wake up and think about them, I know they were longer than what I can remember from them. I have no idea what causes these dreams. Is it a medication or a food?? Who knows, but they are driving me crazy! I've had 2 dreams so far in the last couple days. The first one I had isn't as bad as the one I had last night. Last night, I woke up with tears streaming down my face. Anyway, here is the dream I had a few nights ago:
I was in the Salt Lake Temple all by myself. I remember seeing a lot of people I used to know in Great Falls outside of the temple. There were a lot of books in the temple, and I was organizing them. I looked out the window & there was a huge plane crashing. The plane crash a few blocks from the temple, and all of a sudden, the whole city was fill with balloons in the sky. The balloons were killing everyone outside and they were trying to come into the temple to be safe.
This is the most vivid dream.. I had this last night:
I can't remember what the beginning of the dream was about, but I was dead. I was laying in a body bag in a hospital room. My older brother Greg, was in a hospital bed, on a vent. He could not breathe on his own. I got out of my body bag, and went to find my parents. As soon as I found them, I told them "Greg is dying. You need to go to him, and hold him. Let him know its okay to go. He needs to go." So, my parents follow me to his hospital room & they lay in his bed with them. My mom is on one side of him and my dad is on the other, and they are both holding him. They kept saying, "Greg, you can go. It's going to be okay. We love you." He does die and I wake up with tears streaming down my face.
I'm not sure what they mean, and I hope they don't repeat themselves. I just can't stop thinking about them. The last one was SO vivid, I felt like I was there. Anyway, if anyone has any ideas of what they might mean, let me know! Ahh!!

Wow, that's heavy. Many might disagree with me, but I've always thought that dreams really don't mean anything...or that you shouldn't be concerned. Scientific studies show that during certain phases in sleep our brains "fire" off random memories and thoughts that sort of merge together and become dreams. That's why some dreams are so wierd. But your mind can't make things up. SO whatever you see or feel in a dream is something you've actually felt, seen, or thought of. Make sense? You were scared and the safest place you could think of was the Temple right? Certain medications (like pain killers or anti-depressants/anti-) have been known to make dreams seem more real or vivid. Really the medication is just making you hit a deeper sleep phase alowing your brain more freedom to be more random. Hope this helps.
