Our First Christmas!

This Christmas, Josh and I drove up to Montana to spend time with his family. Besides the 11 hour drive up there due to bad weather, we had a really good time! It was so nice to get out of the "Provo bubble" and be back in our comfort zone. We started our trip out by finishing some Secret Santa shopping, playing way too much Monopoly, watching Mama Mia! and sleeping in. It was so nice to be on vacation; we definitley took advantage of it! We really enjoyed spending time with family, and had such a blast hanging out with everyone.

The night before Christmas Eve, Josh and I helped Chris make some Christmas goody plates. We delivered them that night to several people in Ward. It was fun & then enjoyed a delicious dinner from Pita Pit!

Christmas Eve, we had a big German feast. It's a tradition in Josh's family, and it was my first time eating a big German dinner. I'm not a big fan of German food, but
surprisingly it was really good! We had sausages, red cabbage, potatoes, rolls, and layered Jell-o for dessert.

Christmas Eve, we had a little Christmas program where we all participated. It was really nice, and helped us remember the true reason for Christmas. Then, we opened up secret santa gifts. Garrett gave me my gift..and it was awesome! I got a pop up hot dog toaster. We have already used it, and it rocks! It was one of my favorite presents. Matt got Josh the Iron Gym and he loves it. :) It was alot of fun...and then we opened up family gifts from Nana, Dennis & Heidi. Lots and lots of candy!

We had a big Christmas brunch that morning of danishes, pork chops & the famous Kundis Christmas drink. It was REALLY good..and very filling!

Christmas day was so awesome! I got to talk to my sister who is in Mesa, and it was so good. It gave me a little boost that was much needed! We laughed, cried and had a great conversation! Then, we got to talk to Kevin in Phoenix. Kevin pointed out that this was our first conversation since I've become his "sista". Direct Kevin quote! It was fun to chat with him for a few minutes. Then, we opened up our presents. Josh & I got a lot of great presents. We got a book shelf, a vegetable steamer, Uno Attack!, PF Changs gift card, and an AWESOME calendar!!! (Just to name a few)

Talking to Brit! :)

This is the AWESOME calendar Chris gave us. Too bad Josh doesn't appreciate it as much as me ;) The pictures are way cute!

Christmas was a lot of fun, and it was OUR first Christmas together. We enjoyed our time in Montana and really didn't want to leave. Although I missed my family alot, I am glad we were with family during the holidays. :) We spent our last day in Montana shopping & then went out to dinner to Jakers. We had fun hanging out with everyone, even Garrett's awesome girlfriend Adrienne! We made a few trips to the grocery store to play with Diet Coke and Mentos.... and then started packing for Provo. We can't wait for our next trip to Montana in February!!!!!!
